Crowdfunding and Marketing Performance of Microfinance Banks in Akwa Ibom State

Crowdfunding has developed from being just a fundraising tool to versatile marketing tool. Raising funds through crowdfunding become vital for start-up companies and most recently in the Microfinance banks obtain investments they otherwise might not receive more traditional sources such as banks, angel investors stock markets. This adoption of purposes is without its problems. Organizations would be well advised consider only opportunities these platforms provide, but also their limitations, risks best that will fit into objectives. In this regard, study was carried out order assess relationship between performance microfinance Akwa Ibom State. The researcher adopted survey research technique study. population size 16 within Uyo metropolis State sample 366 employees studied. variables (independent variables) considered were Equity-based Crowdfunding, Reward-based Lending-based Crowdfunding. dependent variable Marketing Performance. hypotheses stated tested using Spearman Correlation Coefficient at 5% level significance. From data analysis, major findings revealed positive significant State, (R = 0.770; P<0.05). having on 0.855; there 0.805; findings, it concluded line with this, recommended companies, businesses financial institutions should adopt various one means raising finance company boost performance.
